Belgian Academy for Overseas Sciences - Reserach Competition
Each year, the Belgian Academy for Overseas Sciences puts three reserach questions forward on specific subjects. Award-winning studues are granted a prize of 2,500 EUR.
For 2016, a study is requested on the management and reduction of flood risks in developing countries.
For 2017, the academy requests studies on the impact of international tourism in developing countries and on the possibilities of improvement of underutilized plant species with the aim of solving problems of food security, poverty or climate change adaptation.
