SUSTAIN present at ESCAP Committee Session
The latest third session of UNESCAP's Committee on Environment and Development offered an excellent opportunity for SUSTAIN to meet with regional, national and local initiatives in environment and sustainable development in the Asia-Pacific region. As an associate partner of SUSTAIN, UNESCAP invited project partners to observe sessions discussions, to participate in the Pavilion of Partnerships for Capacity Development and to present SUSTAIN to Delegations and ESCAP staff at a reception at the end of the Session.
SUSTAIN project members engaged in networking with various stakeholders from NGOs applying environment research for local development solutions to Ministry delegations. The project also used the opportunity for internal meetings and work on project clustering.
