EURAXESS Links ASEAN is now looking for the EURAXESS Science Slammer ASEAN
2014. Join the competition and enjoy the fun side of science!
Submit a short video and get to the LIVE finals held in Bangkok,
Thailand on 13 November 2014. Only one slammer will win the
Slam crown – and a free trip to Europe as first prize!
In Europe, you will have the opportunity to meet a European
research institution of your choice and to participate in a science
communication training held by internationally renowned coaches
in the spring of 2015 - together with the other five EURAXESS
Science Slam winners from Brazil, China, India, Japan and North
America!

How to participate:


Step 1: Get creative and develop an original idea to present
your research project to the world: Old-school presentation, tap
dancing, singing, live experiment – everything is allowed (as
long as it is decent).

Step 2: Make a max. 6-minute video of your presentation with
your camera phone, digital camera or equivalent.

Step 3: Post your video on our EURAXESS Links ASEAN
Facebook site, the EURAXESS Links ASEAN LinkedIn site (go to linkedin.euraxess.org and then to the “ASEAN” subgroup)
or email the link to your video at asean@euraxess.net and
become one of the 5 finalists to compete in the LIVE slam!!

All Science Slam presentations must be in English.
The EURAXESS Science Slam is open to researchers from all
fields, including Social Sciences and Humanities, Life Sciences
and Physical Sciences and Engineering.
Submission is open between 1 June and 15 September 2014
