Preparing for the Action Plans on Post 2020 Climate Change Regime in Asia

This event will be held within the 2015 United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP21) in Paris. It is organized together by Climate Change Center, Center for Climate and Sustainable Development Law and Policy (CSDLAP) of Seoul International Law Academy and the SUSTAIN EU-ASEAN project.

The event, which takes place at December, 11th, focuses on the following three topics: Transformative innovation toward low-carbon growth while reducing climate risk. Compact and connected urban development strategies for climate resilient cities and climate action based on advanced partnership between Europe and Asia to seize the global opportunities.

The keynote speech will be delivered by Young-sook Yoo, the former Minister of Environment of Korea/Co-President of Climate Change Center. Amongst the speakers in the following session is Oliver Lah from Wuppertal Institute/Freie Universit├Ąt Berlin, who is leading the SUSTAIN EU-ASEAN project. In his presentation about Climate Action in Southeast Asia he will also take up results from the project.
